My Philosophy
I am committed to the co-creation of a protected and empathic environment. It is of the utmost importance to me to develop a foundation of wellness to safely explore one's inner world in order to better navigate the world at large. I believe in embracing the chaos and complexity of individual and collective identities working with individuals to make meaning of and navigate life's journey. I utilize a psychodynamic, feminist, relational approach to work collaboratively with you to manage those challenges and move towards a healing path.
Why Therapy
We all reach times when we need additional emotional support in our lives. Therapy can help navigate some of life's most difficult and overwhelming challenges. It is my belief that there is no specific length of time to be engaged in therapy. However, most of my work as a relational therapist is long term, which can mean anywhere from 3 months to 3 years.
How Do You Begin
Finding a therapist can be a daunting task. I applaud you for being here. Seeking a space to be vulnerable and intentionally engage in self reflection shows courage. It is important to me that we work together to determine if we are a "therapy fit."
I will work with you to provide referrals if needed.
